Overview
Before Onfra, Google Workspace used several different methods to manage visitors and stay in compliance. They used an ID scanning software to capture the ID information for visitors. Oftentimes, the program wouldn’t work and Google Workspace had to copy the information by hand. Google Workspace also requires specific forms filled out prior to a facility visit. They would send the document back and forth by fax, and sometimes the wrong forms were sent, the writing was illegible, or there were typos.
Chris Latter is the chief information security officer (CISO) and Monica Rodriguez is the security audit supervisor. They lead teams that protect Valid from physical and digital security breaches and keep Google Workspace in compliance. Latter and Rodriguez are integral to keeping operations at Valid running smoothly. They were also tasked with finding a better visitor management solution (VMS) for Google Workspace.
